SEMH Complex Needs Teacher – Full-Time Opportunity

Are you a passionate and resilient educator with experience supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? We are currently seeking a dedicated SEMH Complex Needs Teacher to join a specialist setting on a full-time basis through Teaching Personnel.

This rewarding role involves working with students who require a highly supportive and structured learning environment. You will play a key part in delivering tailored lessons, promoting positive behaviour, and helping pupils overcome barriers to learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to meet complex learning needs

  • Support students with SEMH challenges, fostering a safe and inclusive classroom environment

  • Implement behaviour management strategies effectively

  • Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and external professionals

  • Monitor and track student progress, adapting approaches as needed

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Experience working with SEMH and/or complex needs

  • Strong behaviour management skills and emotional resilience

  • A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach

  • A commitment to making a positive difference in students’ lives
