Class Teacher
Job description
We are seeking a passionate and resilient Class Teacher with QTS to join a specialist primary setting supporting pupils aged 6–11.
This full-time opportunity offers an immediate start and the chance to make a meaningful impact in a supportive and rewarding environment.
You will be working with pupils who have:

Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs

Behavioural and emotional regulation challenges

Communication and interaction difficulties

Additional learning needs

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons tailored to individual needs

Support pupils’ emotional development and behaviour management
-
Create a safe, consistent and inclusive classroom environment

Monitor progress and contribute to individual learning plans
-
Work collaboratively with colleagues, families and external professionals
About You
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
-
Experience working with pupils with SEMH needs
-
Calm, patient and adaptable approach
-
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
-
Passion for supporting vulnerable pupils to succeed

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
