Job description

Business Lecturer – Temp to Perm – January Start

An expanding FE college is seeking a Business Lecturer to support growing enrolments across Level 2–3 pathways. This role is suitable for lecturers with BTEC, vocational or A-Level Business experience and offers a genuine route into a permanent position.

The successful candidate will join a department with a strong track record of delivering excellent results, successful destinations and positive student progress across 16–19 cohorts.

You will:

  • Teach a range of Business modules including Marketing, Finance, Enterprise, Human Resources and project-based learning
  • Plan and deliver structured lessons aligned to awarding body requirements
  • Support learners through assignment preparation, assessment and feedback
  • Contribute to department meetings, standardisation and curriculum improvements
  • Help prepare students for exams, work placements and post-college study

Role Information:

  • Full-time starting January
  • Temp-to-perm opportunity following successful performance
  • Paid at MPS, UPS or FE equivalent salary band
