Aspiring NQT? Gain Valuable Classroom Experience in Caerphilly!
Location: Schools across Caerphilly
Pay: £120 - 130 per day
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
Contract: Flexible, Ongoing
Are you an NQT looking to gain hands-on experience before officially completing your induction year? We're here to help you take those crucial first steps in the classroom.
We’re looking for enthusiastic, committed trainee teachers or NQTs who are eager to build confidence, develop classroom management skills, and gain valuable experience across a variety of local schools in Caerphilly.
What You'll Be Doing:

Supporting teaching and learning across Key Stages (depending on your experience)

Delivering engaging lessons or assisting in class delivery
-
Building strong relationships with pupils and staff
-
Gaining exposure to a wide range of teaching environments, including mainstream and SEN settings
-
Developing your professional practice ahead of your NQT year
What We’re Looking For:
-
NQTs or trainee teachers working towards QTS
-
A positive, flexible attitude and willingness to learn
-
Some classroom or school-based experience (placements count!)

Passion for working with children, including those with additional needs
-
A DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
-
Driving license and access to transport is a bonus but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
