Salary: £13.75 - £14.50

Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated ASD 1:1 Teaching Assistant to provide tailored support for a pupil with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a mainstream classroom. This role is ideal for someone passionate about making a positive impact on a child’s learning and development.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 support for a pupil with ASD
- Assist with classroom activities and encourage engagement
- Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour strategies
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and external professionals
- Promote an inclusive and positive learning environment
Requirements
- Experience supporting children with ASD or additional needs (preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach
- Ability to follow safeguarding and school policies
- Relevant qualifications (Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or willingness to train)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
