A Secondary School located in Basingstoke is seeking a passionate Art Teacher to be a valuable addition to their team!
This opportunity is great as a Cover Supervisor role or for Early Career Teachers looking to develop their career!
The Role
An Art specialist who:
- Delivers engaging, challenging and inspiring Art lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Has strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for the Arts!
- Creates a positive, inclusive and well‑managed classroom environment
- Is committed to raising achievement and supporting every learner
- Contributes to curriculum development, enrichment, and wider school life
- Works collaboratively with colleagues as part of a supportive and ambitious Arts department!
The Ideal Candidate
- KS3 and KS4 teaching experience or knowledge
- Relevant qualifications (degree, QTS, etc)
- Ability to support those with SEN within a mainstream setting
- Confident and adaptable in the classroom
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with students
- Genuine enthusiasm for educating young people
Working Hours
- Full-time
- Monday-Friday
- Term-time only
- Holiday Pay

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
