I joined Teaching Personnel in October 2016, as I was looking for a industry where I could make a great career whilst having a hand in a sector that I have a great passion for. I went to university in Birmingham graduating in 2014 with a BSc in Sports Therapy. After graduating, I worked as a Teaching Assistant at a secondary school based in Leicestershire where I worked with 11-16 year olds, predominantly within their sports department.
I decided to have a career change by moving into recruitment but wanted to stay within the education sector, where I could make a difference– whether it be Teachers or the young people they are working with.
Outside of work, I am a keen footballer and am currently playing for a team based in the East Midlands Counties league, (as well playing 6 a side for 2 different teams through the week).
