After working for Teaching Personnel as a Teaching Assistant for three years I was looking for a new challenge and was excited by the opportunity to join Teaching Personnel as a Recruitment Consultant. The main attraction for me was being able to pass on knowledge to candidates who are in the same place that I was in, whilst also continuing my work within the Education sector, but with career progression opportunities.
I was employed to be a Consultant in the Cornwall Secondary and SEN Branch under a strong supportive Manager where I was given the opportunity to support local schools in mid Cornwall. After doing this for two years, I was entrusted to be the NTP Manager for the SW which covered, Bristol, Devon and Cornwall. We had such a huge year reaching over 2200 students within this patch the company decided to build an entire branch based on NTP/School Led Tuition. I was lucky enough to obtain the position of South England NTP Lead, where I now enable and support four others doing the role I did the previous year, but covering a larger area that includes London, Kent, the South coast and the Southwest.
Over my journey thus far with TP I wouldn’t have had these opportunities without TP investing in my own development and growth. Teaching Personnel recognise hard work and commitment and ensure you’re heard and acknowledged.
