Pupils and teachers at one Berkshire primary school are gearing up to give a royal welcome to a special guest.
The King's Court First School in Old Windsor is currently celebrating its 50th anniversary, with a range of special activities due to take place over the coming weeks.
However, none is likely to compare to the upcoming visit of the primary's most-famous neighbour, Queen Elizabeth II, whose official residence, Windsor Castle, is located just a half a mile from the school gates, the Press Association has reported.
As well as chatting to both pupils and those in teaching jobs at the King's Court school, the monarch will also attend a special concert and unveil a plaque commemorating the landmark anniversary.
Meanwhile, teachers at another Windsor school, St George's, are set to welcome an A-list pupil in a few years time, with Elton John and his partner David Furnish having already put baby son Zachary's name down on the books there.
