Teaching Personnel's first social event of 2008 went off with a bang last Saturday with our inaugural Monopoly Pub Tour of London. The turnout was fantastic, with most teachers wearing their countries colours with pride and friendly banter amongst the Australians, South Africans, Canadas New Zealanders and of course our English and Irish consultants!
Everyone who attended had a great time, this was a brilliant chance to get to know the local branch staff and fellow teachers. Starting in Liverpool Street station, at the start it was just a small group, but as we laughed our way around the famous landmarks of London, our numbers swelled to nearly 50. Thanks to Peter Brook for organising the day and for the many people who contributed to map reading and helping guide the group around the different locations.
See you at the next one!
