Get in touch

I started working at Teaching Personnel in November 2013 on the SEN Desk and have progressed up to Team Leader. Coming from a healthcare background SEN recruitment felt like a natural progression. I am passionate about the schools I work with and finding the right candidates for a variety of roles. Thinking outside the box is crucial when working in SEN and I pride myself on the high candidate/school placement success for the candidates I work with and the satisfaction of helping someone in their career.

Prior to working in Education recruitment I was an Orthodontic/Surgical Dental Nurse; supporting specialist surgeons in London and Brighton. This was a role that I worked in for 20 years in both the NHS and private sectors, before progressing in to Healthcare and then Education recruitment.

In my spare time I am a keen artist and regularly paint and prefer working in oils. Art is something I have always had a passion for and have drawn and painted from a young age (this afforded me the opportunities to work in other areas and I am a qualified Tattooist having worked in both the UK and abroad and a keen photographer) In addition to art I also have a passion for history and have a large library of both Napoleonic and Tudor history and am a member of English Heritage. A massive MotoGP fan (Valentino Rossi) I attend the British MotoGP every year.
