I am currently working with a "Good" school in Sutton, the school specialises in both Primary and Secondary. The school which caters for Social and Emotional behavioural difficulties is looking to recruit a strong Teaching Assistant, it is located in the Morden area in an adapted secondary school building to which they are privileged to have their own on site large playing fields and Gym. The School offers a positive and diverse learning experience for all students that attend their educational facilities. As well as their large fields and gyms they also have a music room which is utilised as a therapeutic room to engage children with their creativity.
In this role you will be working in either Primary or Secondary, based on your experience and understanding of working with young challenging children. You will be developing on your knowledge and awareness of different needs and following the advice of a Teacher and Senior Staff in the school. This post will require you to work 1:1 and in small groups helping pupils with tailored work set to their learning abilities. As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you must be able to demonstrate your ability to communicate clearly. Your skills and experience will demonstrate your ability to use your on initiative aswell as your keen interest in SEN to motivate and help shape the future of your students you will be working with.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
