EYFS Nursery Assistant

Location: Bournemouth, Dorset

Pay: £400-£550pw

Hours: Full Time and Part Time Available

Here at Teaching Personnel, we are looking for a passionate, caring, and professional candidate who is looking to work within one of wonderful nurseries. Your main responsibility as a nursery assistant will be maintain and developing relationships with the children, parents, and the team.

Key Responsibilities-

ü  The main role will be carrying out small group lessons with children, but working with the class teacher you will also need to help with the planning and creating activities for the children.

ü  Being an assistant, you are responsible for regular updates and taking observations on the children’s development and progression.

ü  Helping in preparing with the transition of pre prep school supporting and providing feedback with their development.

ü  A good knowledge of phonics is very beneficial for this position, as we do have school that have children with learning difficulties.

ü  Remain up to date with policies and procedures.

Ideal Candidate needs-

ü  Good knowledge of Early Year Curriculum

ü  Previous experience working and caring for children under 5 years.

ü  DBS, and on the updated service

ü  Must be willing, caring, and able to adapt to all children’s needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
