Are you a youth worker looking for a new challenge?

Do you have experience working with children with challenging behaviour?

I am looking for a resilient and enthusiastic individual to support at a school in Stockport for pupils with challenging behaviour, who have struggled to engage in a mainstream educational setting.

This is more of a pastoral than academic role, and the ability to effectively engage with pupils is essential. These pupils often come from troubled backgrounds and may have additional needs.

This school is proud to provide a stimulating, supportive and safe learning environment to assist each pupil to develop the skills and confidence to achieve their potential. They place a high emphasis on inter-disciplinary working, with onsite speech and language therapists, occupational therapists and a full time nurse on site. Requirements

  • Experience with youth work
  • Experience with challenging behaviour
  • DBS on the update service, or are willing to gain one
  • Drivers Licence (desirable)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
