Youth Workers wanted for Salford Primary School, Eccles, M30.

Experienced Youth or Community Support Worker working with young children

Working knowledge of meeting the emotional, social and mental health of children

Desire to take a supporting role in primary schools

Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit an experienced Youth Worker for employment in an established primary school in Salford, Eccles, M30. The post is to start as soon as possible and you will be supporting a year 4 pupil with SEMH/ASC needs.

The Salford primary school deals with pupils that come from a tough background through upbringings etc. You will work closely with the school SENCO to create action plans for the pupil. You will also work across other classes supporting other pupils who require extra support.

You will have strong interpersonal skills in order to communicate with children and staff. You will be organised, patient and confident, with a sound understanding of the key issues currently affecting young people.
