Are you a Teaching Assistant seeking work in the Darwen area?

If so, Teaching Personnel work closely with a Darwen based School which caters for pupils with SEMH difficulties, Autism, Learning Difficulties and pupils who display challenging behaviours.

The School provide support for KS3/4 pupils and the pupils will often display very challenging behaviours.

The role will start on an ad-hoc basis and you will need to be flexible as work may only be booked on a last minute basis. The role will be full time after the initial supply basis and the School are seeking someone to become a permanent member of staff, therefore a strong work ethic is essential.

The candidate will be paid between £51-61 per day and you will work from 8.40am-3pm monday - friday.

The successful candidate will be hard working, have experience working with pupils who display challenging behaviours and be willing to work with pupils who may be verbally or physically aggressive.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
