Teaching Personnel have the perfect role for you!

I am looking for a number of Youth Workers to work within the York and Selby areas, with students that have been excluded from mainstream school. Most of the students are of secondary age and need extra motivation to engage in education. You will be working with students on a 1:1, small group or full classroom basis. Class sizes are smaller and usually are made of up to 8 - 10 students. As the UK's Largest Education Recruitment Agency, we have a range of short term and long term roles available, with opportunities for permanent contracts available throughout the year.

To be considered for the role:

  • Have at least 1 years experience in a similar role
  • Hold a certificate in education, psychology or Youth Work
  • Hold an Enhanced Child Only DBS that is registered to the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one
  • Be available a minimum of 3 days a week and be able to accept morning calls for bookings

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
