Teaching Personnel are working on behalf of a number of secondary schools, seeking Behaviour Support specialists who will be able to offer support to vulnerable students with emotional, social and mental health difficulties, within the Basingstoke area.

The primary function of this post is to work collaboratively with the team, supporting students in developing their confidence and self-esteem in order to increase school participation and generally cultivate greater aspirations to achieve. Confidence in behaviour management is key.

Applicants suitable to this position will have experience in some of the following:

  • Youth or community support work
  • Residential and support work
  • Mentoring
  • Prison officers
  • Police officers
  • Graduates

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
