Youth Work Teaching Assistant
Teaching Personnel are seeking an experienced behaviour mentor on the behalf of an Ofsted rated 'Good' Primary School located in Hatfield.
About The Role
This is a full-time position providing general support across KS2 and carrying out interventions with pupils who have challenging behaviour.
Challenging behaviour includes:
•Not completing class activities set by the Teacher
•Distracting peers from learning in the classroom
•Leaving the classroom without being dismissed
•Pushing to the front of the queue
The Ideal Candidate:
•Team Teach Trained ideally, but not necessary
•A degree in Psychology or Criminology ideally, but not necessary
•At least 6 months experience supporting challenging behaviour in a classroom based environment
•Good role model with good command of the English Language
•Youth work experience
