Behaviour Specialists required for full-time and/or part-time work!

Teaching Personnel are working with a number of schools and provisions across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire who are looking to recruit effective behaviour mentors to support students who have been excluded or transitioning back in to mainstream education.

The opportunities offer a varied and ever changing environment in which members of staff work flexibly to support vulnerable students with emotional, social and mental health difficulties. We have both full-time and part-time opportunities available.

Those who have experience in the following areas would be of particular interest:

• Youth work

• Support work & residential care

• Learning mentors

• Prison officers/ tutors

• Graduates from relevant disciplines (Psychology, sociology)

• Retired teachers

You will be expected to work collaboratively with the team supporting students in developing students confidence, self-esteem, increasing participation and to generally cultivate greater aspirations to achieve, not only in education but in the their lives as a whole.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
