Youth Worker Required in Manchester Pupil Referral Unit

  • Do you have Youth Work Experience?
  • Do you have the ability to get young people with social and emotional challenges engaged?
  • Do you have experience working with young people with challenging behaviours?

I am currently recruiting for a Pupil Referral Unit in Manchester. The PRU is seeking to recruit individuals with a Youth Work background to help support the children within the school. The school’s Senior Leadership Team is looking to recruit individuals with this experience because they have the ability to get young people engaged and focused, a skill set which is essential in this setting.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a background in Youth work and will therefore have the knowledge and ability to manage challenging behaviour in a way which still produces positive outcomes. Candidates with relevant experience or qualifications will also be considered for this role.

The pay rate for this role will be between £8.07-£9.15 per hour

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
