Learning Mentors Needed For SEN Pupils

  • Working with a range of SEN pupils
  • Chance to boost children's academic levels
  • Opportunities available in KS1 and KS2

Are you interested in adding SEN experience to your CV? Are you able to make a positive impact on the lives of youngsters from disadvantaged areas.

Teaching Personnel are working with an academy trust in Newark who are seeking to appoint a learning mentor to work across different sites within their academy. The role will involve:

- Working 1:1 and in small groups with pupils with SEN

- Following lesson plans set by teacher to lead intervention groups with pupils

- Leading a lunch time club to improve the social skills of children

- Liaising with SENCO on any issues in school.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
