Experienced youth workers, play leaders and other educational staff required for new roles across Leicester / Leicestershire

  • Supportive agency looking for experienced staff, classroom experience is NOT essential
  • CPD academy includes courses in - Team teach, Autism Awareness, NASEN modules, Phonics, child protection and much

We are currently recruiting experienced youth workers who have experience of supporting young people that have social, emotional, or mental health issues. You could have worked in a variety of different settings such as:

• Youth centres

• Outdoor play schemes or events

• Schools

• Colleges

• Faith-based groups

You will be excellent at building relationships and supporting individuals that have a variety of barriers to learning.

Main responsibilities will be:

• Assessing the needs of young people

• Regular monitoring and assessment of pupil progress

• Befriending and supporting individuals in various settings

• Attending regular training

• Supporting pupils on a one to one basis and in small groups

• Dealing with challenging behaviour

• Working closely with both schools, external agencies and parents

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
