Education Youth Mentor required in Scarborough

  • Behaviour management, numeracy/literacy support, pastoral care
  • Suitable position for experienced youth workers or experienced mentors
  • Rates of pay of £50-£60 per working day depending on experience

Teaching Personnel is looking for a determined, hard working mentor who can work at a local, fast paced school. The successful candidate needs to have previous experience in a mentoring role, one to one, group work or classroom support. The job role consists of behaviour management, numeracy/literacy support, pastoral care, delivering a range of activities and liaising with professionals within the school. This position is particularly suited if you have experience working as a youth worker.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
