Teaching Assistants needed in Baldock.

We are working with an alternative provision in the Baldock area who are looking for dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistants to work with secondary aged children with social, emotional and mental health difficulties.

If you are:

  • Motivated and committed, with a calm approach;
  • Have a real presence about you
  • A Team player with the ability to work use your own initiative;
  • A Positive role model to the children and young people;
  • Someone that will be able to react calmly in stressful situations and deal with difficult and challenging behaviours.

You will have strong interpersonal skills in order to communicate with families, carers and a multidisciplinary team of teaching staff, social workers and educational psychologists. You will be organised, patient and confident, with a sound understanding of the key issues currently affecting young people.
