Have you got an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or similar?

Do you have experience in supporting and working with pupils who are not in mainstream education?

Perhaps you've worked as a crisis intervention worker or similar?

We are seeking enthusiastic and engaging staff to work with SEN schools and alternative provisions in the Plymouth area. The role is working from Monday-Friday, 8:30-3:30, Term time only. You will be working on a 1:1 basis supporting a pupil with SEMH and challenging behaviours.

You must have GCSE A-C in Maths and English and one of the following (or equivalent):

• 2 x A Levels
• NVQ Level 3
• BTEC Level 3
• CACHE Level 3
• Apprenticeship Level 3

The successful candidates will need to:

* Have a full clean driving licence with access to a vehicle daily.

* Have some experience of working with people as a youth worker/ support worker/ carer or crisis intervention worker.

* Use their own initiative yet be able to be an effective team member.

* Be empathetic and understanding in their support and guidance for parents, pupils and staff.

* Care about pupil learning and emotional and mental health.
