Do you have experience supporting young people who exhibit challenging behaviour?

Are you looking for a new role in a unique environment?

I am looking for an exceptional youth mentor to support pupils in a Pupil Referral Unit in Bury. This school supports pupils across various sites, all of whom have been excluded from a mainstream environment and often display challenging behaviour.

This is a unique opportunity to make a significant difference to the lives of young people who may have come from difficult backgrounds and have struggled to learn in a mainstream setting. If you have a background in youth work, sports coaching or have worked in a challenging mainstream environment then I want to hear from you!

Requirements

  • Experience supporting pupils with challenging behaviour
  • Experience in sports coaching or youth work is desirable
  • Child DBS on the update service or a willingness to get one
  • Ability to work well under pressure
