Job description

Are you a youth or residential support worker looking for a new challenge?

Do you have experience supporting pupils with challenging behaviour?

Would you like to support pupils in a unique learning environment?

I am looking for an exceptional learning support assistant to support a small class of pupils with behavioural needs at a school in North Manchester.

This school supports pupils in Key Stage 2 and 3 with Emotional and Behavioural Disorders (EBD), priding itself on being an exciting place to learn (and work!), where each person is valued and everyone is encouraged to succeed to the best of their ability.

They are committed to creating a happy, safe and stimulating learning environment where everyone is encouraged to reach their potential through the promotion of respect, responsibility, independence and creativity in order to build confidence. Their primary focus is helping to prepare pupils for their future life in wider society.

The ideal candidate would have experience in one or more of the following areas.

  • Youth Work
  • Residential Support
  • Previous support experience in a school environment
  • Sports coaching

Team teach training is desirable also.
