Job description

Have you recently graduated with a psychology degree? Or have experience working with young adults

If you are reliable, enthusiastic and resistant and want to provide nurturing support to children in care, then get in contact!

You will need the following:

  • GCSEs in English and Maths
  • Must be over 21
  • Have a full, clean Driving Licence and access to a car
  • Be prepared to work Monday to Friday, 08:30- 15:30.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Work as part of a team to support a young person, either on a small group basis or 1:1 basis.
  • The support of the young people is paramount and you will need to support them socially, emotionally and academically.
  • You will support them to engage with peers, you will also be required to work with your pupil on and off site.
  • You will be required to get involved with students activities with elements of Outdoor Education.

There is plenty of opportunity for Career Progression for the right candidates. You will also be paid weekly and you will also be put through a 2 week paid school induction with full-training provided.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
