A Secondary Pupil Referral Unit in Failsworth wish to hire a full time Youth Worker for an immediate start. The successful applicant working as a Youth Worker will join a supportive staff team and undertake regular training; there is an opportunity for this to become a permanent position. Teaching Personnel Manchester SEN branch work in partnership with this school based in Failsworth to cater for all of their staffing needs.

There are opportunities for Youth Workers across both Primary and Secondary so Youth Workers interested in either Setting should apply directly. The Settings cater for pupils who struggle to access education due to their learning needs; specifically you will support children with social, emotional and mental health difficulties. The role as a youth worker will include undertaking structured and agreed learning activities/programmes, both on a 1-2-1 and small group basis, taking into consideration pupil learning styles.
