Relief Support Worker required for York

  • Supporting vulnerable young people
  • Assisting with their educational development
  • Competitive rates of pay starting at £9 per hour

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for Support Workers on a relief basis for Schools in and around the York area. As the UK's Leading Education Recruitment Agency, we work with Schools to assist with their recruitment, whether this be on a full time, part time or on a day to day basis. If you have experience in a Support Worker position and are looking to make the move over to the Education Sector, please get in contact with Teaching Personnel today.

The Ideal Candidate Should:

  • Be caring, passionate and enthusiastic
  • Have easy access to Fulford, Acomb and Central York
  • Be a committed individual, with a genuine care for the students you are supporting
  • Have a minimum of 1 years experience as a Support Worker and hold the relevant experience

We are currently recruiting for caring, enthusiastic and honest individuals to join us as Relief Support Workers within services in York. Relief Support Workers form a vital part of our workforce supporting people with a learning disability to enable them to achieve their goals and ambitions in life. If you are looking for a job where you have the flexibility to choose when to work, then this is the role for you. As a Relief Support Worker you will be working as and when required. This means you won't be contracted to any set of hours but will be able to work the hours being offered to you subject to your availability. A degree of flexibility will be required however as working times will include mornings, afternoons, evenings and sleep ins. The role of a Relief Support Worker can be challenging but is always varied and very rewarding. Duties will vary and may include providing support with cooking, cleaning, managing finances, attending health appointments, personal care or going out into the community.
