Are you looking to gain experience working with children who have special educational needs?
Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with schools in Bracknell. These schools cater for children with special educational needs such as autism, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and behavioural, emotional and social difficulties.
Teaching assistants/support assistants/learning support assistants are required to work with these pupils who have specific learning difficulties. The main work is in a setting of no more than around 8 pupils to a class, with a teacher, and a possibility of another teaching assistant.
The ideal candidate:
• No relevant SEN experience needed
• Experience with children is preferred (SEN would be ideal)
• Able to work under stressful situations
Teaching Personnel do offer training courses in order to help candidates be more successful in their roles such as introduction to autism, moving and handling of objects and people, effective classroom support and Team-Teach.
