1:1 Teaching Assistant to support with challenging behaviour in Rugby primary school

Teaching Personnel are recruiting on behalf of a school in Rugby for a candidate to support on a 1:1 basis with a year 6 child who is demonstrating challenging behaviour. The post is temporary to start after the Easter holidays, until the end of the academic year.

The ideal candidate will have fantastic behaviour management, a calm approach and the ability to build positive relationships. Team teach training is essential, if you do not have team teach but posses all the right attributes, Teaching Personnel are running a Team Teach course on the 12th and 13th April.

The school itself is 2 form entry, most previously rated as 'GOOD' by Ofsted. The senior leadership team pride themselves on their support of staff and the continuous professional development support and opportunities.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
