Job description

We are seeking a 1-2-1 Teaching Assistant for a school based in Durham to support Year 6 SATS.

A smaller than average sized Primary school in Consett are looking to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant to work with pupils in their Year 6 class helping them prepare for SATS. The school has been Ofsted graded as 'Good' and has a strong leadership in place taking the school from strength to strength. With a child focused ethos, this school has a warm, welcoming and vibrant feel.

This role entails teaching small intervention groups as well as be working on a 1:2:1 basis. You will be expected deliver sessions to a high standard and work collaboratively with other staff. The role is to start as soon as possible, the successful candidate will be appointed till SATS with the opportunity to stay on longer funding dependant. Full time role.
