Year 6 Teacher role in Wandsworth

Job description

We are currently looking to place an experienced KS2 Teacher (ideally with Year 6 experience) to join a two form entry Primary school with a global Ofsted rating of 'Requires Improvement' and 'Good' in Personal development, behaviour and welfare in Wandsworth who are growing their friendly and supportive team.

The Role :

The right candidate must hold a qualified teacher status (UK) or equivalent if Overseas Trained and have taught for a minimum of one academic year in a British or International (English Speaking) school overseas. Please note that all FQTs, NQTs and Overseas Trained Teachers will be considered. You will be teaching a Year 6 class alongside another teacher (for PPA) and will have the support of one TA full time and a part time LSA. This role is available for a teacher committed to work at least until the exam period (May 2018) or the end of the academic year with the option of becoming permanent. The school is ideally looking for a teacher able to work from Monday to Friday BUT have stated they may consider part time applications (at least 3 days per week) for the right candidate.

What else ?

- You must be in possession of an up-to-date CHILD WORKFORCE DBS (registered on the Update Service) or willing to apply for one (full assistance provided).

- We are only able to accept applications from UK residents with a proven right to work in the UK. You must living in London and/or have plans to move to London in the near future and/or be willing to travel to Kensington.
