About the School

This is a three-form entry school located in Southampton and is approximately a 15 minute walk from the train station. The school are currently looking for an exceptional Year 6 Teacher to join their team after Easter.

About the role

The school are currently looking for an exceptional Key Stage 2 teacher who is available to hit the ground running. This school is dedicated to ensuring that all pupils are well equipped to go on to university, or a career of their choosing. This role is a full time year 6 classroom teacher position and involves organising the classroom and learning resources and creating displays to encourage a positive learning environment. You will be responsible for preparing students for their SATS exams and monitoring and tracking pupil progress.

The ideal candidate:

  • You must be a Fully Qualified Teacher/Overseas Trained Teacher or Newly Qualified Teacher
  • A valid DBS that is registered on the update service or willing to complete an application
  • Charismatic, passionate and energetic
  • Has a proven track record of raising attainment or ensuring pupils hit their predicted targets
