A qualified KS2 Teacher is required to start in the new term in January

Are you a qualified KS2 Teacher looking for work in the Seaham area? Do you have a passion for primary education? If so this could be the perfect placement for you!

The role involves Teaching a year 6 class of 34 mixed ability pupils. The role will require you to plan, deliver and mark lessons for the class in a friendly and professional manner. As well as this you will be required to prepare the class for their final SATS exams so any experience in SATS boosters is a plus with this role.

The school is in the centre of Seaham, with good transport links right outside the school if you are travelling by public transport. The school has been rate 'good' by Ofsted in their 2018 report and intends to carry on this reputation into 2019.

  • Teaching a year 6 class of mixed ability
  • Competitive salary, earn up to £665 a week!
  • Must undertake the planning, teaching and assessment of all subjects
  • Must prepare the class for their SATS exams

In order to apply you must:

  • Hold a UK recognised teaching qualification
  • Relevant experience teaching in primary schools
  • Up to date on the primary curriculum
  • Be able to provide 2 good references (2 from educational preferably)
  • Valid DBS
