Teaching personnel are working along side a ‘good graded Primary school In Wakefield (WF8). The school is recruiting for an experienced reliable year 6 teacher to join the team. This role will be leading onto a permanent contract with the school granting that you are the right fit.
The successful candidate will be working full time hours 8am-4pm offering up to GBP180 per day depending on experience.
The role is due to begin as soon as the Children return to School.
The school are looking for
- QTS required (Qualified Teacher Status)
- KS2 SATS experience
- DBS registered with the Update Service (desirable)
- Experience teaching in Upper Key Stage 2 in the last 12 months would be preferable
- Passionate about learning and has high expectations for raising pupil attainment
- Approachable and a good communicator
- Has an understanding of different pupil needs and how to meet them
About the role
The successful Year 6 Supply Teacher will be supporting Year 6 during their SATs exams as well as helping them get ready for the transition to their chosen Secondary school.
Year 6 is an important year for primary school pupils and the successful teacher will be positive, supportive and ensure they are committed to the class and their success.
