Year 6 Teacher

Job description

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a Primary School in Scunthorpe, and we are seeking on their behalf a Year 6 Teacher to join their Key Stage 2 department as of January 2019. This is a full time, temporary role until the end of the academic year.

The successful candidate will hold full responsibility for a Year 6 class of mixed ability, and preparation and planning is expected. Previous Year 6 teaching experience, and an excellent understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum is essential in order to be considered for this role.

The school have received an 'Outstanding' rating in their most recent Ofsted inspection, and aim to provide a happy, caring and stimulating environment where all children can reach their full potential.

To be considered for this role you will:

  • Hold UK QTS
  • Be a motivational & innovative teacher
  • Be able to evidence recent 'good' or 'outstanding' observation reports
  • Have recent experience of teaching to Key Stage 2 Level

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
