Year 6 Teacher for a Primary School in Houghton-leSpring Required

Are you a dedicated, creative KS2 Teacher? Are you looking for a new challenge? We have the perfect role for you.

Teaching Personnel are looking to appoint a Year 6 teacher for an Ofsted rated ‘Good’ school in Houghton-le-Spring. The role is temporary initially, with the possibility of extending. You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons across the curriculum to a Year 6 class, differentiating for a range of abilities to ensure all children achieve their full potential.

Experienced teachers as well as NQTs are welcome to apply.

An ideal candidate will have:

-A UK recognised teaching qualification

-Experience teaching in Year 6 and familiarity with the curriculum

- Great behaviour management skills

- Experience working with SEN

- A friendly, creative approach to teaching

- An ability to plan and deliver effective lessons

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
