Year 6 Specialist Teacher needed from January 2017!

I am currently looking to recruit a KS2 Year 6 Specialist teacher in the Swadlincote area of South Derbyshire for a temporary long-term position at one of my client Junior Schools!

This is an exciting role in which the school are looking to appoint a strong and committed Teacher to support one of their Year 6 classes at the most important time for the Year - SATS!

The ideal candidate must be committed to completing all assessments and reports, but equally must be committed to making a difference in the run up to and during SATs.

It is at the schools best interest to ensure as smooth a transition possible while the current Teacher leaves for maternity and a new teacher takes over, so the school will implement a Team Teach structure from January 2017 to February half term. This way the ideal candidate taking over will benefit from 6 weeks of support from the current teacher before taking over the role fully.

The successful candidate must be passionate, committed and confident in delivering a structured, high quality of lesson to the Year 6 Pupils. The School have a highly support SLT and a welcoming atmosphere with staff who are willing to support new Teachers in settling in to their new roles.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
