Are you a qualified history teacher looking for job role this April?

 We’re currently looking for an inspiring history teacher to start, full-time April 2023. If you’re a qualified or newly qualified teacher this could be the perfect opportunity for you. You will need to have completed your PGCE and able to teach to KS3 and KS4.

Our highly rated school is based in Rochdale and is highly accessible. It is close to the M60 and nearby main bus routes. With it being situated in a popular location there is also tram and train routes close. It is perfect for anyone living in the surrounding areas such as Oldham and Bury with it being widely accessible.

The school is well known for its excellent staffing support system, where they provide on the job training and allow access to department resources. They have an outstanding and welcoming history department within the school, looking to take a new enthusiastic member to their team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Plan and prepare challenging lessons to engage students
  • Monitor the academic progress of students and be alert of any under achieving students
  • Adapt lessons for all learning ability
  • Manage behaviour within the classroom
  • Research new topics and maintain up-to-date subject knowledge

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
