A "Good" graded Mainstream Primary School in Leeds (LS8) are looking for an enthusiastic Year 6 Lead Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis starting ideally in the next 2-3 weeks and leading to a permanent contract. 

MPS/UPS -Starting salary at £750 per week

The School has a recent OFSTED rating "Good" and caters for 770 children ranging in ages from 5 to 11 years. 

The School are currently looking for someone who:

  • QTS required (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • DBS registered with the Update Service (desirable)
  • Experience teaching in Upper Key Stage 2 in the last 12 months would be preferable
  • Experience with a TLR / Lead responsibility is desirable
  • Passionate about learning and has high expectations for raising pupil attainment
  • Approachable and a good communicator
  • Has an understanding of different pupil needs and how to meet them

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
