A Teaching Assistant is required for a 1 to 1 intervention role in Sherburn Village

A Teaching Assistant is required to start in January to help aid with a year 5 pupil who needs some extra support. The child has behaviour difficulties therefore the candidate should be good with behaviour management. The candidate should also preferably have some SEN experience. The pupil needs extra support and needs supervision during working sessions.

The school is a medium sized school with a caring and nurturing environment. The school was recently inspected by Ofsted and received 'Good', which was a huge improvement from their 2013 inspection. The successful candidate will start in January and will finish at the end of the academic year. Potentially carrying through to year 6 for continuity for the child.

In order to apply you must:

  • Relevant experience in primary schools
  • SEN experience would be beneficial
  • Up to date on the primary curriculum
  • Be able to provide 2 good references (2 from educational preferably)
  • Valid DBS
  • Be passionate and enthusiastic about primary education, and a team player!

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
