A Year 5 Teacher is required for a role beginning in the new academic year within an 'OUTSTANDING' school in Stockport. The position will be up until the Easter holidays to cover a maternity leave. The ideal teacher will have a proven record of working with a mixed ability class and strong differentiation capabilities.

This two form, highly rewarding primary school has been praised for its effort that is made to celebrate the pupil's unique qualities & nurturing their skills, abilities & personalities. The successful candidate will work with an inspirational head teacher to continue to create a happy environment. The head teacher is looking for the right Year 5 Teacher to continue to build wonderful positive relationships with pupils & continue to work with the pupils to help them become confident learners who aim high.

The ideal candidate will not only fit in well with the Year 5 class but also the leadership team. To be considered for this post you must have previous experience teaching a year 5 class or KS2.

  • Have a proactive approach to teaching the class

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
