Year 5 Teacher to teach a class of 30 pupils of mixed ability from February 2019 for 1 year.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Year 5 Teacher to join a consistently 'Ofsted' graded 'Good' school based in Chester-Le-Street. The School is average sized and single form entry. This is a good school where the children make good and outstanding progress. This is largely due to good quality teaching and a caring approach by all staff in school.
If you would like to work in a school that provides a welcome and secure environment allowing pupils to have the opportunity to succeed and learn and uphold British values in tolerance of different faiths and beliefs.
Pupils achievement and behaviour is good with an effective system in place to track progress of the school.
Details about this role:
- Full time role starting in February 2019 until December 2019
- Teaching a Year 5 Class of 30, 3 SEN pupils (with TA support)
- Must undertake the planning, teaching and assessment of all subjects
In order to apply for this role you must -
- Hold a UK recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Year 5 pupils
- Up to date with the Primary Curriculum
- Be available from February 2019 and commitment till December 2019
- Be able to provide 2 good references
- Valid DBS
