A lovely, diverse Primary School in the borough of Barking and Dagenham is seeking a Key Stage Two teacher to start immediately after Easter. The vacancy is to cover the current Year 5 teacher for the last half term of her maternity leave.

The one form entry school have recently been graded as ‘Good’ by Ofsted and have a reputation for providing a fun, safe and inclusive learning environment which results in excellent progress and attainment across the year groups. They are looking for a new class teacher to join their enthusiastic and friendly team for half a term.

The ideal candidate will:-

- Have experience of teaching in Key Stage 2.

- Promote positive behaviour through effective behaviour and classroom management skills.

- Teach inspiring and creative lessons.

- Aim to raise pupil progress and attainment through a consistently high level of planning, teaching and assessment.

- Be an excellent communicator with fantastic interpersonal skills.

- Have a current DBS on the update service.

Salary: £130 per day (DOE)

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
