An Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ primary SEN school in the Bury area are looking for a primary qualified teacher who has a proven track record of engaging and teaching pupils with a range of special educational needs.
To be considered for this teaching role you must hold a teaching qualification and QTS, primary or secondary is acceptable. However, if you hold a secondary teaching qualification but want work in a primary setting, you must have had experience teaching primary aged young people.
The successful teacher will be -
* Fully qualified
* be able to teach at P-levels
* be able to communicate using PECS
* be able to lead a team
Additional training such as Team-Teach or SCIP are highly desirable as some of the children and young people may display challenging behaviour, both verbal and physical.
