Teaching Personnel is seeking to recruit a Year 5 teacher for a large and very popular primary school in Gateshead. This position is initially for 2 days a week and be expected to provide day to day cover in the school.

The successful Year 5 teacher will be working with children of mixed abilities. It is essential that you have good working knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum and that you have experience of planning and delivering quality learning experiences for pupils.

To be considered for this position you must have

*Qualified Teacher Status (Newly Qualified Teachers welcome)

*Experience of working in a Key Stage 2 setting

*An innovative and creative approach to teaching

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
