Strong Upper Key Stage 2 Teacher wanted for Primary School in Sudbury

  • £125 - 145 per day, depending on experience

We are currently recruiting on the behalf of a lovely Primary School located in Sudbury. They are currently looking for a strong upper Key Stage 2 teacher to join their team and who is available to hit the ground running after the October half-term.

About the School

A large three-form entry Primary School that is situated in a residential area near Wembley High Road and Ealing Road. It is a multi-cultural school with children from different faiths, backgrounds, religions and beliefs. The school has undergone an expansion which has allowed for an additional nine classrooms, a large new ICT suite, a larger hall, extra play and outdoor space, all built to a high standard. Also, there is a new colorful library designed to create a stimulating reading environment.

There is a strong senior leadership team in place at the school and you will be given sufficient support whilst working in the school.

About the role

*Delivering high quality lessons to pupils

*Monitoring pupil progress and providing feedback to pupils

*Liaising with other teachers when preparing and planning lessons

*Communicating feedback with parents

The ideal candidate:

*Hold a QTS and have at least 1 year teaching experience within the UK

*Able to promote and implement the school ethos

*Strong classroom management skills

*Able to provide 2 x references

*Have a valid DBS that is registered on the update service or willing to complete an application

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
